Beautiful walks starting right from the park
A flat, leisurely route around the lake that’s accessible to everyone. Perfect for a morning walk.

A shorter but adventurous hike to a hidden waterfall. The hike isn't difficult and is perfect for beginners.
📍Approx. 3 to 4 km — about 1 hour
This cultural-historical walk goes uphill. Climb the old tower for a panoramic view of the valley.
📍Approx. 5 km—about 1.5 to 2 hours
For those who want to gain some elevation. This church is located at an altitude of no less than 1,004 meters and offers an impressive setting.

Cycling and Mountain Biking in the Gailtal Valley
The total route from Kötschach-Mauthen to Villach is about 90 kilometers. From the campground, you can easily take shorter stages.
Challenging mountain bike climbs with steep gradients. Expect rides ranging from 15 to 30 kilometers with hundreds of meters of elevation gain.
Among other things, Nassfeld offers the “Fix & Foxi” trail, which is about 2.5 kilometers long, and the challenging “Mex Line 1,” which offers over 4 kilometers of pure downhill fun.
