Pressegger See

Take a dip in the clear blue waters of the Pressegger See during the hot days. This beautiful lake with its huge grounds is perfect for a relaxing day in the sun or shade with the family. Due to its pleasant water temperature, which can reach 28 degrees Celsius, the Pressegger See is the ideal place for water sports enthusiasts.

Weissensee

The Weissensee is extremely popular during summer. That's no surprise: it is the cleanest lake in Carinthia and there are countless water recreation options, such as diving courses and water skiing lessons. You can also rent a motorboat there. But even if you want to do nothing and relax, the Weissensee is a wonderful place to stay!

Experience the view of Lake Pressegger See from the other side - namely from the water. With a sup, you can explore the area in a peaceful way and be sporty at the same time. Well-known sights in Klagenfurt are the Lindwurmbrunnen and the monument to Hercules, the conqueror of the lindworm. The churches, castles and gates in the city are also worth a visit. Be sure to take a look at the markets in Klagenfurt where you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, herbs and flowers.

Garnitzenklamm

Over the past millennia, the Garnitzenbach stream has carved its way into the rocks of the Carnic Alps, slowly but surely creating a breathtaking natural landscape: cascading waterfalls, green bays and beautiful rock formations are the result of this process. You will also find rare and protected plant species and impressively high rock walls in this area, making the Gartnitzenklamm a spectacular nature experience.

Nassfeld

In the summer, the huge Nassfeld ski area changes into a beautiful green mountain landscape where there is a lot to experience. For example, you can whiz down the Pendolino, the longest summer toboggan run in Carinthia. There are also numerous hiking and mountain biking trails for novice and experienced hikers and mountain bikers through the beautiful mountains and along the lakes. From the Pressegger See to the Weissensee, you can enjoy swimming with the whole family in the warm Carinthian lakes.

Burg Landskron

The castle ruins of Landskron are located at an altitude of 660 meters and visiting them can be a nice outing for the whole family. In addition to the interesting history dating back to 1351, you will discover a gastronomic restaurant and a fun children's program with a puzzle rally. At castle ruins Landkron you can admire eagles during the impressive birds of prey show. The Affenberg, which is located next to the castle, is the largest open-air monkey enclosure in Austria with no fewer than 160 monkeys!

The ski bus stops just 300-400m from the holiday park and takes you to the nearby Nassfeld ski area and many other destinations!

The ski bus runs daily between St. Stefan – Hermagor – Tröpolach – Kirchbach – Dellach – Kötschach-Mauthen and Weissensee – Weissbriach – Hermagor.

Weissbriach Ski Resort

The Weissbriach Ski Resort in the Gitschtal is a small and charming winter sports destination in Carinthia, ideal for families, beginners, and relaxing days on the slopes. It features approximately 5 km of slopes and 4 lifts, with mostly easy to moderate runs in a peaceful, nature-rich setting. Beginners and children can have a great time on the practice slope with a magic carpet, all while surrounded by the beautiful Alpine landscape.

Wintersport

You can hire your winter sports equipment directly at the valley station at Sölle Sport. Lessons and tours for various winter sports can be booked for children and adults at Alpeadria Sports. Lessons can be organised individually or in groups. Every winter sports fan will find something to suit them: downhill skiing, snowboarding, ski touring, free ride, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, telemarking, tobogganing, heliskiing or avalanche safety training.

Skiing in Nassfeld

The Nassfeld Ski Resort in Carinthia is one of Austria’s largest and sunniest winter sports destinations, with approximately 110 km of slopes for all skill levels and 29 modern lifts that quickly take you to your next run.
